Deliberate Practice in Clinical Supervision: Cultivating Attunement, Feedback, and GrowthDate: Fall 2025 (Exact date TBA)

CE Credit: NASW-Approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
Co-taught by Alycia O’Connell, LCSW, CADC III and Ariana Lloyd, LCSW, this experiential, skills-based workshop is designed for clinical supervisors, consultants, and post-licensure clinicians interested in sharpening their supervision practice through the lens of Deliberate Practice.
Participants will:
  • Learn to apply Deliberate Practice to strengthen supervisory attunement
  • Practice real-time micro-intervention feedback
  • Deepen confidence in supporting clinician development
  • Explore emotional range, pacing, and feedback techniques
  • Identify ways to structure supervision sessions for optimal learning

Engaging Self and Student: Practical Strategies for Trauma-Informed, Equity-Based School Culture
Dates: March 17 & April 7, 2018
Location: Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling
Length: 14 hours over two Saturdays
CE Credit: CEED 866 (1 semester hour), CEUs, PDUs
This course explored how educators can support students impacted by trauma, mental health challenges, and systemic inequity. Topics included trauma-informed practices, restorative justice, adolescent mental health, substance use, and burnout prevention.

Introduction to Psychological-Kinesiology: Understanding Your Unspoken Intentions

This interactive presentation introduced Psych-K as a method for identifying and transforming subconscious limiting beliefs. Participants learned about brain integration, muscle testing, and whole-brain state techniques.
