I have over 20 years of clinical experience and 13 years of supervisor experience. I have worked with individuals, groups, and families and as an instructor for workshops. I practice a blended eclectic model that combines a strength based approach. My theoretical orientation incorporates integrative, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and psychodynamic theories. A copy of my work resume is available and I will be glad to answer any questions you might have about my background, training, and specializations.
Current Groups Offered:
Clinical Supervision for Clinicians in Private Practice /Group Practice
3rd Tuesday of the Month 4-6pm PST

This group helps to provide respite to the isolation we often feel in private practice. Clinicians are able to receive guidance on starting a private practice, HIPAA requirements, online therapy, self care, and getting valuable guidance from colleagues and myself on specific cases and issues being faced. This group also has the option of working on developing skills in specific modalities (chosen by the group) through demonstrations, role plays, and other learning.
Clinical Supervision for Licensure Candidates
second Tuesday of month, 6-8 pm
For CSWA, LPC Intern, LMFT Intern, and CADC-all levels
In this group, clinicians have an opportunity to present cases and to expand their skills and understanding. Group sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual participants of each group. Typically, one hour is open for group discussion and case consultation and the other focuses on delving into a predetermined topic/modality. Discussions focus on case conceptualization effective treatment-planning, developing setting-specific interventions, crisis intervention, boundary setting and self-care.
Participants will be guided in integrating a trauma-informed lens to their work and gain an understanding in various modalities depending on the needs of the group. Examples of past topics include: Addiction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Nutrition, Mindfulness Practices/Mindfulness Self Compassion, Brain Gym, Emotional Freedom Technique, Jungian Dream Analysis, and Polyvagal Theory.
Clinical Supervision for School Based Clinicians
Last Tuesday of month, 6-8 pm
For Clinicians working in a school-based setting (to get licensure or post licensure)
There are many challenges that are unique to working in school settings especially during the current time. Our work is often done in isolation and with others who do not share our lens and/or do not understand our role so we often do not have anyone with whom we can process and debrief. This group provides an opportunity to share work with others, celebrate successes, gain guidance and perspective, discuss ethical dilemmas, explore our motivation, biases and blind spots, and a chance to share what impact the work is having on us personally.
The group includes case presentation, discussion of challenging issues and obstacles to working in the school system, resources sharing, record keeping, and a review of the ethics, boundaries, school policies, equity, running groups within the school system, and whatever other topics are important to the group members.
It may be possible to work with some districts so that you can use tuition dollars to pay for this supervision group.
*Participation requires a minimum six-month commitment.
24 hours notice is needed for any cancellations.
